Cottages in the Trough of Bowland: Accommodation

Both cottages have been sympathetically restored retaining many of the original features and are simply furnished to enhance the character of the buildings.

The Shippon

The Shippon sleeps 5 in three bedrooms, one single, a double and full size bunk beds, the bathroom having  w.c. washbasin and shower.  Downstairs the open plan area has a stone flagged floor, the kitchen [which features the original boskins] is equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and automatic washing machine. There is an antique pine furnished dining area and lounge with colour tv/dvd  and three piece suite.

One well behaved dog is permitted in The Shippon by prior agreement of the Owner at time of booking. A small charge may be made.

Bedding and towels are provided.

A freezer and tumble dryer is available on request.  A cot and high chair are also available by prior arrangement at time of booking.

Outside, there is a childrens' play area with swings - please note that children must be supervised and while precautions have been taken in terms of safety, visitors use this at their own risk; the owners cannot be held responsible.
